La Movida

Created and operated by Laurie Allan Franks, La Movida opened its doors in 2013 as a creative applied arts studio specializing in teaching kids how to sew.

We were approached by Laurie to help develop a website for La Movida. Initially she was a bit careful because she had a bad experience with the previous web development agency, but it did not take long to break the ice.

We launched with a simple shop to allow customer to purchase face masks online. It was when at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic and we created an online order form with a payment option. It was not full eCommerce yet, but it did its job. After some time of using the form we were asked to develop an eCommerce  platform where they could sell multiple products.

We also optimized the loading time of the website and achieved the best results possible:
