Until Google Analytics 3 will stop processing data
Are you using Google Analytics? Migrating Google Analytics to GA4 is necessary if you want to continue using Google Analytics after June 2023!
In fact, we strongly recommend that you migrate well before that date (so ASAP) so you can check your current Analytics data against the new GA4 data to make sure that your new setup is reporting accurately. The sooner you can get GA4 up and running, the more historical data you’ll have when UA sunsets.
Google Analytics as we currently know it (Google Universal Analytics, UA or Google Analytics 3) will be shutting down on July 1, 2023. After this date, any website that wants to continue to use Google Analytics, needs to migrate to Google Analytics 4 (GA4) before that date. If you’re on the fence, don’t delay. July will be here before you know it, and you’ll be sorry if you haven’t been collecting data to compare.

Google Analytics Set Up Service
When you are not using Google Analytics yet, but want insight of your website (who are your visitors and where are they from, how do they click on your website, what pages are popular etc.), we encourage you to start using Google Analytics. We can set it up for you for only CAD$ 149 (one time-cost).
Basic migration of Google Analytics to GA4.
This service is for businesses that already use Google Analytics (version UA/GA3) and who do not have Google Tag Manager, Google Ads or Facebook Ads integrations present. This migration includes the following steps and is a one time-cost of CAD$ 149 for customers of DataRoots or CAD$ 199 for new customers.
- Analysis of current Google Analytics tracking and measurement setup
- Creation of property in GA (Google Analytics) account – creating data streams etc.
- Implementation of Google Analytics 4 tracking code
- Configuration of the Google Analytics property – any filters, enhancements etc.
- Migrating over existing goals
- Connecting the new property to Google Search Console
- Debug and validation 24 hours later
Migration of Google Analytics including Tag Manager (GTM)
This service is for businesses that already use Google Analytics (version UA/GA3) and Google Tag Manager.
This migration includes the following steps and is a one time-cost of CAD$ 199 for customers of DataRoots or CAD$ 249 for new customers of DataRoots.
- Analysis of current Google Analytics tracking and measurement setup
- Creation of property in GA (Google Analytics) account – creating data streams etc.
- Implementation of Google Analytics 4 tracking code
- Configuration of the Google Analytics property – any filters, enhancements etc.
- Installing the GA4 tag in GTM container
- Migrating over existing goals
- Connecting the new property to Google Search Console
- Debug and validation 24 hours later
Advanced migration of Google Analytics including Google Ads or Facebook Ads
Our advanced migration includes everything in the prior Migration steps and adds integration of your Google Ads and other advertising accounts (like Facebook Ads). We test to make sure you are receiving campaign data. Any e-Commerce website would need an Advanced migration. We would need to do an audit of what you are currently using in UA/GA3 then provide you with an estimate as these tend to be custom for each website.
If you are not a current client of DataRoots, there is an additional CAD$ 50 fee for the time we will need to coordinate with you in order to get access to and proper permissions for your Google Analytics account.
